Join yourtown’s Employment Services program in our newly created Men’s Wellbeing Workshop Facilitator position. In this position, you will design and deliver engaging, strengths-focused workshops to young men aged 15–25 through the Full Circle program. The role aims to build mental health literacy, strengthen coping strategies, and encourage positive help-seeking behaviours, while creating safe, culturally responsive environments that support wellbeing, resilience and long-term engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and deliver the Full Circle program across multiple locations, ensuring a high quality experience for participants.
  • Facilitate engaging workshops that build wellbeing, resilience and mental health awareness for young men aged 15–25.
  • Create strong connections with participants, encouraging engagement, trust and meaningful involvement in shaping the program.
  • Monitor outcomes, gather feedback and use insights to continually improve program delivery and participant experiences.
  • Build effective relationships with internal teams and community partners while developing resources that support program success.

This opportunity is a full time, maximum term role and will run until June 2027

your expertise

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or a related field, with solid clinical experience supporting young people.
  • Proven experience facilitating engaging workshops, group programs or learning experiences for vulnerable or at risk cohorts.
  • Strong understanding of mental health, wellbeing and trauma-informed practice, with the ability to respond appropriately to participant needs.
  • Exceptional relationship building skills, with the ability to engage young people and collaborate effectively with colleagues and community stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and digital skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, deliver quality outcomes and work independently across multiple locations.
  • Demonstrated project or program management experience, with the ability to coordinate activities, manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes on time
