Enterprise Risk and Compliance Manager

About the role

Reporting to the CEO, the Enterprise Risk and Compliance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and managing yourtown’s strategic and operational risk management framework.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the implementation of a new ISO 31000 informed Enterprise Risk Policy and Framework, in addition to developing and including new elements for audit and compliance
  • Engaging with organisational managers/teams in contemporary risk management practice, with a focus on protecting and creating value
  • Analysing data to provide insights into business risk activity, trends and risk management performance for a variety of stakeholders as well as providing risk related reporting to the Executives and the Board/Sub Committee
  • Leading and managing a high performing team and accelerating a risk intelligent culture at yourtown

About you

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications coupled with demonstrated experience in a risk, audit, compliance role partnering with diverse business streams
  • Demonstrated experience working at an enterprise level to establish/accelerate a risk intelligent culture
  • Outstanding data analytical and reporting skills and the ability to ‘switch’ between a strategic and operational focus
  • Proven experience with cloud based Governance Risk and Compliance systems will be invaluable as you will lead the migration of legacy risk systems to a new GRC
  • Solid experience leading and inspiring a diverse team and building organisational maturity
  • Strong relationship building and influential skills to promote the risk governance agenda across yourtown
  • A dynamic, results driven attitude and embrace organisational change
