About the Role

Yooralla’s Community Services is seeking a passionate, experienced and dedicated individual to join their friendly and supportive team. You will be responsible for initiating, developing and coordinating a range of Day Service programs and services for people with disabilities. This is a shared temporary position where you will also oversee the coordination, training and support of Disability Support Workers.

About You

If you are passionate about supporting customers to manage their own lifestyles and live the life they choose and ideally you have experience with supporting individuals to meet their goals, we would like to hear from you. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in running and developing day service programs
  • Experience in staff supervision and support
  • Demonstrated experience in working with people with disabilities in all aspects of direct service delivery
  • Demonstrated experience in working with complex clients and complex family structures

Requirements

To be considered for this role you must attach the below mandatory requirements with your application:

  • Cover Letter & Resume
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • First Aid (HLTAID003) & Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID001) certificate
  • A copy of your Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • A current Australian driver’s license is highly desirable
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (preferred)
