About the role

​The Membership Administration Officer within the YMS team will assist with administration tasks related to the day-to-day operation of YMS Team. A core function of this role is to respond to inbound and outbound telephone calls/emails from recreation centres, suppliers, members and families, so there is a need to excel with both customer service and administrative tasks.

​The role is normally located in the Victorian Head Office in Box Hill. During lockdown you have the ability to work from home. When the office reopens there will be a requirement to return to the office with COVID safe capacity limits and protocols on either a part time or full time basis (dependant on Victorian Government guidelines). All equipment will be supplied to you to work remotely. You need a reliable internet connection and a suitable location to perform your duties.

This is a permanent full time opportunity and the salary is $53,795 per annum excluding superannuation.

You will possess the following capabilities and behaviours:

  • Reliability
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication written and verbal skills
  • Ability to problem solve

Qualifications & Experience

  • Links (POS) knowledge desired, or the ability to quickly learn and navigate POS systems.
  • Customer service background preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word required
  • Experience and/or understanding of the recreation centre environment industry​
  • Complaint management
  • Debt management
