The YMCA Vocational School is a multi-campus educational community based at Acacia Ridge, Ipswich, Kingston, Mango Hill, North Lakes and Victoria Point.
The School is a Special Assistance School offering alternative schooling programs to assist disengaged students in having the opportunity to reach their full potential through positive educational studies, activities and outcomes.
We are currently recruiting for a Numeracy Support Teacher. This is a full-time, position working 35 hours per week.
The position will require work across our school sites. The workload will include approximately 60% student engagement duties with the remaining time allocated to curriculum development and improvement projects.
The ideal applicant will be looking for a challenge, have a passion for working with young people, a strong interest in the development of the holistic person, a personal interest in Numeracy development, spirituality, personal well-being and values and ongoing professional development.
