Youth AOD Case Manager - Shift

Are you passionate about working with young people to help them make positive change? We’re looking for an experienced Case Manager to provide individualised support to young people to make positive changes to their drug and alcohol use.

This role requires someone with lots of drive and initiative who can think on their feet. This is an outreach-based role, working in community and meeting young people where they’re at.

As a Case Manager in the Shift program you’ll be part of a small program that operates in partnership with the Mater Clarence Street alcohol and other drugs service, and it forms part of our larger suite of programs supporting young people in Logan and Redlands.

You’ll get to apply your knowledge of supporting at risk young people aged 12 – 25, providing intensive case management support to address their goals around substance use and additional vulnerabilities such as mental health, education, housing and legal issues. You will also connect with other services and represent YFS at external meeting and forums in the Youth AOD sector.

YFS is a leader in Youth Services in the Logan, Redlands and surrounding areas. Our integrated approach is designed to deliver better outcomes for our young people. In this role, you will collaborate with other teams across our range of services including youth support, transition from care programs, youth justice cluster, housing and legal services. This also means there are great opportunities to develop your skills and career.

Role location: Slacks Creek

Role type: Maternity relief position, 6 months maximum term

Pay range: $74, 410 to $80, 063 a year based on experience, with salary sacrificing available
