At Women's Property Initiatives (WPI), we believe safe, affordable housing changes lives.

For more than 25 years, WPI has been providing secure homes for women and children at risk of or experiencing homelessness. We are a specialist community housing provider driven by feminist values, social justice, and the belief that every woman deserves safety, dignity, and independence.

The Role

As Property Officer at WPI, you will work closely with the Asset Manager to look after our portfolio of properties. This includes conducting regular asset condition inspections, contracting and delivering maintenance works, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and applying your technical knowledge to support planning and solutions. You will build positive relationships with our contractors and renters to ensure smooth and timely delivery of quality works.

Who We Are Looking For (Key Selection Criteria)

We need someone with experience in residential properties who:

• Has a background in the domestic building industry or in planning and managing maintenance
• Has solid knowledge of regulatory requirements, building compliance, and safety standards
• Has experience in domestic property inspection and evaluation
• Works well within the prescribed framework, but can think creatively to resolve problems
• Has the ability to operate at a high level of personal responsibility for the effective completion of tasks
• Has a working knowledge of information technology and can maintain data integrity
