This is a new part time position reporting to the Director Disability, Mental Health and Aged Care supporting WCS to strengthen our practices in engaging and collaborating with service users and improving service quality.

This is an exciting part time role for someone who is passionate about seeking positive outcomes for service users and their support persons. We are seeking a person who understands the potential that ‘lived experience’ can have for improving service quality and design, and the importance of creating ways to listen to and harness the voices of our service users.

The Service User Engagement Project Officer will be an experienced community worker with skills in, and a passion for, using co-design processes and working with feedback and complaints to drive quality improvement in services. An ability to connect and collaborate with all areas of the organisation is important to drive this work across our varied service areas including NDIS, Child and Family Services, Housing, Mental Health, Community Development and Aged Care.

Strong time management, problem-solving and organisational skills, excellent verbal and written communication, including report writing and the ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders are essential.

What we offer

Part time position working 22.5 hours/week with flexible hours negotiable. This position will initially be offered as a contract to 30 June 2022 with the possibility of an extension.

Salary $85,121 - $88,986 pa (pro-rata) depending on skills and experience with access to salary packaging benefits which can increase your take home pay.
