About the opportunity:

We have outstanding opportunities for passionate and experienced people to work with a highly reputable and iconic community services organisation. Youth Workers will be based in a youth refuge setting and will work closely with senior staff, case managers, youth workers, placement students, volunteers and participants to ensure the programs effectively engage young people.

About you:

We're looking for motivated people who have a genuine interest in and commitment to working and caring for children and young people in need. You will have a tertiary qualification in social work, youth work, community services or related discipline and previous experience in a similar position is key to the role. Empathy, resilience, outstanding personal qualities and a preference for working within a collaborative team environment are qualities that will succeed in the role.
