About the opportunity

The purpose of this role is to work with vulnerable families with complex disabilities and support needs whilst working with other service providers and support networks to enhance relationships, parenting skills and overall wellbeing and safety of children within the families. The role will draw upon on the broader family services sector to support families to transition into the NDIS and to navigate the system ensuring timely access to disability supports.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Diploma of Community Services, Bachelor of Social Work or Certificate IV qualification and/or relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ within the Disability field/Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within the NDIS framework.
  • Extensive experience and skills in case management with an emphasis on working with families.
