Based on psychosocial principles and the recovery model, the service offers a 15-bed residence staffed 24-hours per day, 7-days per week, on a long-term basis for participants of the program.
Working alongside a team of mental health workers, you will provide support to participants who have an experience of mental illness and associated psychiatric disability to live independently in a community residential setting. The provision of one-on-one support and group work facilitation will support participants to achieve their recovery goals, as aligned with their NDIS goals.
As the Senior Support Worker, you will be working in conjunction with the Team Leader in the development and management of residential rosters and providing your colleagues with secondary consultation to resolve complex participant issues. In addition, you will support the Team Leader in operationalising the recently introduced NDIS model.
