About the opportunity

The Kindergarten Inclusion Support Consultancy role is an exciting opportunity to work in partnership with kindergarten teachers in funded four year old programs so to support positive inclusion for all children but particularly for children with complex, high support needs. 

The successful applicant will work closely with other KIS consultants across Victoria to continue to develop the program to be embedded in leading practice approaches to coaching, mentoring and building the capacity of kindergarten teachers and teaching teams to be proactive in providing contemporary inclusive programs and environments for children.

About you

We are looking for an exceptional early childhood professional with extensive experience leading and providing inclusive programs within complex communities. 

The role requires a strong understanding of responding to and implementing strategies to reduce risk in the kindergarten setting is required and therefore you will have the ability to respond to and support others through challenging circumstances. 

You will be an exceptional leader, who can work independently but also want to be a part of an inclusive high functioning team. You will have significant experience leading others and self-awareness to adapt your own practice to suit the needs of our early childhood community.
