As the Service Leader for our early learning centre in Hopetoun, you will help us to deliver early learning programs that support the tight knit local community of Hopetoun and provide high quality education and care to children.

This part-time ongoing position is for 64 hours per fortnight working 8:30am to 5:30pm, Tuesday to Friday. Our beautiful centre boasts large outdoor spaces and gardening beds.

As the Service Leader, you will support our team with providing social and educational activities to build a child’s sense of belonging, resilience, kindness and teamwork.

Your role will include both operational management and rostered time spent as part of the ratioed team providing direct service to children.

About you

You enjoy working autonomously while being supported by a collaborative and forward-thinking team. You can develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and their families, with empathy and support at the forefront of your work.

You’ll also bring with you:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care or equivalent (please check Position Description)
• Experience gained in Early Childhood
• Strong organisation and planning skills, including high attention to detail.
