As the Assistant Educator for our early learning centre in Hopetoun, you will help us to deliver early learning programs that support the tight knit local community of Hopetoun and provide high quality education and care to children.

This part-time ongoing position is for 48 hours per fortnight working 8:30am to 5:30pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Our beautiful centre boasts large outdoor spaces and gardening beds.

As an Assistant Educator you will provide assistance to the Room Leaders and other qualified educators within the service to ensure practices and processes are consistent with regulatory compliance.

About you

You will ideally have a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or relevant experience in an Early Childhood services role.

You will also bring:

• Sound knowledge of the underlying principles of Early Childhood, gained through experience, education or training.
• Knowledge of the statutory requirements related to Early Childhood.
