Winya Indigenous Furniture is a majority Indigenous owned, genuine Indigenous business operating on a profit-for-purpose model that creates employment opportunities for Indigenous Australians across Australia. Winya is an office furniture company with focuses on sustainability, Indigenous engagement and championing diversity and inclusion. Winya is registered with ACON's Welcome Here Program and has a number of internal projects working with and supporting the LGBTIQ+ community.

Winya's marketing team is expanding and we're looking for a young, passionate, creative person with marketing experience to join us.

We're a small, young fast paced team operating one of the fastest growing companies in Australia. The range of work changes day to day from graphic design, SEO optimisation, events organisation, social media management, copy writing and much more!

With extensive opportunities for personal career development, flexible working conditions and many exciting social impact projects to be a part of. This role will be in collaboration with Winya's existing marketing coordinator and will be reporting directly to the Director of Marketing and Communications. We’re a tightly knit team and a COVID safe workplace.

This role will be based out of our Sydney city office with an 80/20 in office/WFH split.

Qualifications & experience

  • Good sense of Australian Market Conditions
  • Proficiency in technology Wordpress
  • Experience Copywriting
  • High proficiency in written English
  • Eye for design
