Windermere is a registered service provider under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and with more than 20 years’ experience in providing services to Victorians living with disability or developmental delays, we understand the NDIS and how it may impact our consumers.

About the opportunity

Windermere is seeking a qualified Provisional Psychologist with a minimum of 2-3 years clinical experience, ideally within a paediatric practice. Based in the Southern Melbourne region, the role will entail visits to community settings, family homes and Windermere offices. We are seeking an experienced Psychologist for a part-time position (30.4 hours per week). This part-time position is perfect for a confident and positive professional who wants to join an organisation who lives by their strong values to help strengthen our community. They will need to have an external supervisor to support and approve their hours toward their full Psychologist accreditation.

Windermere’s Psychology services include, but are not limited to: positive behaviour support and planning, social skills development, emotional regulation and coping strategies and parent coaching. The successful applicant will have demonstrated knowledge of typical development and common conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, mental health conditions and developmental delay. You will provide standardised assessments and evidence informed strategies to support children aged 0 – 18 years.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor of Psychology or equivalent and current registration with relevant professional body
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skill in the assessment, implementation and evaluation of plans and services for children and families
  • Be driven to make a difference in the lives of children with disability and developmental delay, and their families
  • Provide services that are responsive to consumer choice and build capacity
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as working independently, including office based or remote off-site location
  • Current Victorian Drivers’ License
