Centre for Participation is seeking a Disability Pathway Mentor to support people with disability to identify, pursue and achieve their goals through volunteering, learning, community participation, social enterprise and employment pathways.
This exciting new role will play a key part in delivering our YouthAbility project and supporting people with disability to build confidence, self-advocacy skills, community connections and greater independence.

We deliver a diverse range of programs across disability, volunteering, learning, youth, aged care, transport and social enterprise. Our work is built on the belief that everyone has strengths, potential and a valuable contribution to make.
As a Disability Pathway Mentor, you will work alongside people with disability to identify goals, build skills and create meaningful pathways that align with their interests and aspirations.
You will support Learners participating in Centre for Participation programs, social enterprises and pathway initiatives, helping them explore opportunities in volunteering, learning, peer workforce development and employment.
Key responsibilities include:
You are passionate about inclusion and committed to supporting people to achieve their goals.
You may have experience in disability, community services, education, employment services, youth work, social work or a related field.
You will bring:
Lived experience of disability, caring responsibilities or navigating disability support systems is highly regarded.
