Do you want to contribute to WHOS cultural approach and activities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Worker to join our team at Nambour.
This position will support our culturally appropriate activities and initiatives and the engagement and retention of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients with the service.
We are looking for applicants with good communication and networking skills, an understanding of the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who can bring or build linkages with key Aboriginal individuals, communities and community organisations. Ensuring a culturally safe environment is a key aspect of this role.
This is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander identified position (an applicant's race is a genuine occupational qualification and is permitted underSubdivision 2 of the Qld Anti-Discrimination Act 1991).
Remuneration negotiable based on experience and qualifications and according to award conditions.
