About the role

High Risk Accommodation Response for COVID is a newly funded program designed to support accommodation providers to prevent COVID 19. The program is an end to end program that works with each accommodation area to assess readiness, support readiness and in the event of an outbreak manage the situation.

The Outbreak Lead is a newly created role and responsible for delivering Outbreak Management leadership in the situation of an outbreak in the (HRAR) program.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Design and deliver standardised outbreak management plans for High Risk Accommodation prioritised by the DHHS
  • Design and document the management structure, response, processes and resources required in the event of an outbreak
  • Support the LGA lead in the event of an outbreak

This is a unique opportunity to be part of community program which aims to prevent, prepare and respond to infection and minimise transmission in high risk shared facilities accommodation.

About you

You are a subject matter expert who can demonstrate experience managing an organisational infection control program. You are a natural problem solver with strong stakeholder engagement and thrives in fast paced environments. Your flexibility and understanding each day can be very different will allow you exercise sound judgment and decisiveness.

The Care pathways team operates 7 days per week with shift hours varying depending on service need, the successful candidate will be required to participate in shifts as rostered.
