About the role

This new and exciting role is for those who are passionate about meeting the challenge with improving the patient journey of health care for people in the Nepean Blue Mountains region.

This role will work closely with key stakeholders including primary care services, the Local Health District and other partners to reduce fragmentation of care. This will be achieved by developing or enhancing systems to improve connectivity of services and quality of care.

To be successful in this role you will need to be highly motivated with ability to lead successful change, take responsibility and demonstrate autonomy for project outcomes.

You will have a high level of expertise in communication, as well as demonstrated experience in effective stakeholder engagement, collaboration and consultation.

Your understanding of successful approaches to develop integrated care in the health care sector will be important.

This position is full time and is funded until June 2024. Future employment is subject to ongoing funding.

Selection requirements

  • Highly developed communication and engagement skills across multiple communication tools to meet outcomes of the business.
  • Ability to take responsibility, demonstrate autonomy and expert judgement within area of expertise and accountability for project outcomes.
  • Proven ability to design, develop and integrate multiple pieces of work or project /program outcomes, whilst considering risks and mitigation requirements for the organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience with effective stakeholder engagement, collaborations and consultation that supports strong partnership arrangements.
  • Ability to lead effective change through creating strategy, vision and leadership.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience of integrated care approaches and implementation in the health sector.
  • Tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience in the field of health, business or project management.
  • Proven ability to utilise information technology tools in particular the Microsoft suite to an intermediate level.
