Part-time, fixed-term (to 30 August 2023) youth work opportunity in Warrnambool and surrounding areas SCHADS Level 4.1 salary + superannuation + salary packaging benefits + leave loading We're looking for a passionate Youth Outreach Recovery Worker to help deliver an exciting and hands-on program.

The Youth Outreach Recovery Service (YORS) is a psychosocial support model for young people aged 16-25 years who have been experiencing mental health symptoms for more than six months and would benefit from wellbeing support.
The program is hands-on and flexible, with a range of day and afternoon shifts available (between 8am and 8pm). It will allow participants access to groups from the YRR program, training in life skills and general support. The participants are empowered to choose their own recovery journey in order to achieve their goals.
The Youth Outreach Recovery Worker will help participants to build/consolidate their capacity to better manage their mental illness, develop practical life skills for independent living and self-care, engage in community life, access other health and social support services they need and make the journey towards recovery and the life they want.
