About this opportunity

We are seeking a permanent full time Clinical Care Consultant, reporting to the State Manager, and working closely with regional colleagues across NSW and ACT. The Clinical Care Consultant provides clinical expertise to support the delivery of high quality care to Wellways participants. Key functions include;

• Development, monitoring and review of complex care plans
• Ensuring all clinical requirements of Wellways Participants are appropriate, safe, reviewed and managed
• Provide training to support workers and other staff
• Providing clinical advice and instruction
• Providing on-call telephone support outside of normal working hours as rostered
• Be able to Travel across NSW and ACT to perform their duties as required.

The role involves weekly commitment, to assist other RNs, with covering the clinical on-call roster outside of normal working hours.

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following

• Current Registered Nurse Qualification
• A Certificate in Training and Assessment would be preferred though not essential
• Demonstrated experience/knowledge in working with community services Industry
• Valid drivers licence
• Satisfactory Police Check (no older than 12 months)
• NSW Working with Children Check, prior to commencement
• Evidence of working rights within Australia such as a passport, birth certificate or VISA
• NDIS Orientation Module
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Evidence of full COVID vaccination including booster, or a valid medical exemption
