Supporter Care Coordinator

The Wayside Chapel

As a key member of the Fundraising team, the Supporter Care Coordinator is often the first voice or face a Wayside Chapel supporter connects with. This role delivers warm, responsive, best-practice care across every touchpoint, playing an essential part in how supporters experience our mission day to day.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Build genuine relationships with supporters and fundraisers, ensuring every interaction reflects the values of the Wayside community and brand
  • Manage inbound enquiries for cash supporters and regular givers
  • Thank and welcome supporters across all areas of fundraising, including coordinating volunteers to help make these calls, particularly during the Christmas period
  • Deliver exceptional supporter experiences across phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Coordinate regular giver onboarding, support retention campaigns, and mass impact reporting

ABOUT YOU

  • You've spent a couple of years building great relationships with customers or supporters, whether in a donor care, sales, or customer service setting
  • You thrive on variety, as one moment you're on the phone welcoming a new supporter, the next you're supporting a community fundraising event, and after that you're troubleshooting a payment decline or a supporter concern.
  • Superior customer service skills, high degree of empathy and ability to represent Wayside Chapel in a professional manner at all times
  • A champion for needs of all supporters
  • Experience using a CRM system (e.g. Salesforce) with confidence
