Wavecare Counselling is a not-for-profit organisation which operates a vibrant counselling clinic in Glen Waverley. Wavecare offers psychological counselling, assessment and counselling to a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, couples and families who are experiencing a range of high-prevalence as well as more complex mental health disorders.

Skills/Duties:

• Ability to conduct appropriate psychological assessments and deliver evidence-based treatment
• Provide clinical leadership around complex clinical issues
• Assist in the furthering Wavecare’s program development.

Requirements:

• Registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from an APS accredited course or equivalent,
• Endorsement or eligibility for endorsement by AHPRA in the area of clinical psychology
• Listed as a registered supervisor (or eligible for being so listed) with AHPRA.
• At least five years’ experience in providing a high level of services in mental health and related settings.
