About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Corporate and Community Engagement, the Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing WaterAid Australia’s digital marketing strategy. The position is responsible for implementation and maintenance of all aspects of WaterAid’s digital marketing activities including social media, website, search engine optimisation and online advertising including remarketing.

Key outcomes of this role are:

  • Successful delivery of WaterAid Australia’s digital campaigns in a professional, innovative and timely manner resulting in an increased amount of public engagement, traffic and conversion.
  • Increased engagement and conversion across selected social media channels
  • Successful management of website.

Skills and Experience

You will be goal driven and self motivated with strong analytical skills in order to build digital models that drive supporter growth. Strong grasp of digital trends and relevant tools is important along with the ability to work effectively both operationally and strategically. In addition, you will have:

  • Extensive related experience developing and implementing digital campaigns and advertising to achieve targets
  • Proven Experience working on content management systems Drupal, Wordpress and Shopify
  • Deep understanding of buying Facebook media and optimisation
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, AdWords and Tag Manager
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS, audience segmentation and targeting
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Relevant qualifications
