The Partnerships and Donor Engagement Coordinator is responsible for fostering and maintaining relationships with external partners, donors, and supporters for the Victorian Pride Centre (VPC). This new role involves delivering VPC’s strategies to engage donors, as well as assisting the Marketing, Communications and Fundraising Manager to coordinate and deliver benefits for partners and sponsors. The Partnerships and Donor Engagement Coordinator will work closely with the Marketing, Communications and Fundraising Manager and Marketing department to ensure alignment with organisational goals and objectives.

The role maintains a high level of internal and external communications, from federal, state and local government departments, and corporate organisations, to donors, trusts and foundations. The Donor & Partnerships Engagement Coordinator will work closely with VPC’s CRM, as well as having sound knowledge of administration and strategy in a development context.

Summary of Position Terms

Role: Partnerships and Donor Engagement Coordinator

Status: Full Time (1.0 FTE) - Fixed term 1 year contract

Salary: Commensurate with experience ($75K - $80K). Allowances + Superannuation (11%)

Start date: April 2024

PROFESSIONAL QUALITIES

  • Relevant qualifications in marketing, fundraising, business development or related discipline and three years minimum relevant experience, including in program and people management.
  • Ability to build authentic relationships with diverse stakeholders and translate relationships into practical, financial support. Demonstrated track record of successful fundraising.
  • Understanding of not-for-profit sector, membership organisations, and ability to thrive in a fluid and fast-paced environment of an emerging NFP organisation.
  • Strong and broadly based professional competencies, including in research and analysis, collection and use of data, financial modelling, commercial acumen, communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems, and interpersonal and people management skills.
  • Demonstrated alignment with the values of diversity, equality and inclusion.
