VicHealth is the world’s first health promotion foundation. Established by the Victorian Parliament in 1987, we were the first agency of our kind worldwide to utilise a hypothecated tax on tobacco to support independent, long-term, evidence-based health promotion practice, partnerships and leadership. We continue to be a global leader in health promotion, as a Collaborating Centre with the World Health Organisation and as a technical partner to UNICEF.
For the past decade, our work has been guided by an integrated 10-year strategy. Looking to the future, as we embark on our new 10 year strategy, we are looking to reimagine systems that impact our health and wellbeing, promoting a healthier, fairer Victoria.
We are currently recruiting a number of positions as a result of recent promotions, and approval of new positions at Coordinator level within our Future Healthy Group, and our Policy, Strategy & Impact Group.
These positions help support the delivery various project management tasks including contract and project management activities as per established organisation-wide policies and procedures.
These positions support team members in ensuring project milestones are met and stakeholder expectations are delivered.
You’ll also contribute to activating opportunities for system change to achieve VicHealth objectives.
For us to be enabled to deliver on our new strategy, you will be comfortable in demonstrating our values of Trust, Accountability, Challenge, and Results.
You will be someone able to clearly demonstrate agility, initiative, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
VicHealth is committed to ensuring appointments represent the diversity of our community. Women, Indigenous people, people with disability, young people, LGBTIQ+ people and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
