The Lead Educator is responsible for leading the delivery of quality education and care in line with the Victorian Early Years Learning Framework and to drive pedagogical practices that are aligned to the organisation’s philosophy, values, policies and procedures. These multi-age programs will be enriching and responsive to the individual developmental needs and interests of the children, and which maximise their opportunity to develop to their full potential.
Building and maintaining meaningful relationships with children and their families will be crucial, and you'll work with the families in relation to the care, welfare and development of their children.
Leading a team of Educators, you will ensure observations are completed and full compliance of the service is maintained at all times.
As a professional dedicated to supporting the development and wellbeing of children, you will have experience in a similar role. You hold an ACECQA-approved Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care at a minimum and have an in-depth understanding of program development and behaviour guidance.
As a personable, friendly and respectful individual, you will build strong relationships with families, focused on trust and communication.
You will hold a Working with Children Check, have a clear police record and current First Aid certifications (including Anaphylaxis, CPR and Asthma).
