The Opportunity

The Supervisor; Wesley Social Enterprises, is responsible for providing direct and non-face-to-face employment supports to an operational team of up to 10 Supported Employees in accordance with the NDIS governance framework to deliver dynamic commercial contracts which include horticulture, graffiti removal and vehicle cleaning

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide caring and trusted leadership to Supported Employees as individuals within a team environment to achieve employment goals
  • Lead and work hands on alongside the WSE Supported Employee team in performing contracted works using sound WHS policies and procedures and operational plans
  • Instil and maintain a safe, supportive and positive workplace culture with a positive work ethic and high attendance
  • Deliver commercial contracts and or customer requests on time and on budget
  • Communicate in a professional and respectful manner with Supported Employees, contract partners, staff and the general public at all times
  • Comply with all administrative documentation and reporting requirements as required by WSE, UnitingSA and the NDIS within the required timeframes

The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience in Community Services Certificate (disability work and or mental health) or equivalent (desirable) and or Trade or certificate in specific team related skills (e.g. horticulture, cleaning,  maintenance etc.) and /or equivalent relevant experience (desirable)

We are seeking a highly engaging, kind, and dedicated individual to join our team who has the professional practice and experience to deliver both person centred supports and hands on supervision of loyal, trusting and dedicated Supported Employees.
