Join Uniting’s Commonwealth Psychosocial Support (CPS) Program and become part of a passionate, community-focused team supporting people living with severe mental illness across Western Sydney.
This is more than just a job, it’s an opportunity to empower individuals to rebuild confidence, strengthen independence, and improve their overall wellbeing through recovery-oriented support.
Working across the community, you will provide outreach and practical psychosocial support to people aged 16 years and over, helping them navigate life challenges while building resilience and connection.
The Commonwealth Psychosocial Support Program (CPS) supports individuals experiencing severe mental health challenges to access short-term, recovery-focused care that enhances wellbeing and daily functioning.
Our specialist team works collaboratively with participants to develop tailored support plans and deliver meaningful interventions through individual and group-based support.
You are compassionate, resilient and passionate about supporting people on their recovery journey. You enjoy meaningful community work and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Appropriate cultural knowledge and understanding of First Nations history, challenges and protocols is important in this role. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are strongly encouraged to apply.
