Right in the heart of Lane Cove on Sydney’s Lower North Shore, Uniting Kamilaroi has proudly cared for the community for over 30 years. With 74 cozy beds spread across two welcoming households, our apartment-style home buzzes with compassion and energy—offering 24/7 support from a team of dedicated, experienced carers who truly make a difference.  Every day, our team helps residents live joyfully and meaningfully — and we’d love you to be part of it.

What do we need you to do?

You’ll provide care and companionship to residents and deliver innovative leisure and lifestyle activities that are specifically tailored and designed for the resident’s needs, interests and capabilities, these also include:

• Lead, guide and direct the staff in planning the program of activities, ensuring to liaise with team members, residents and carers.
• Ensure that all residents can be part of an activity program of interest and that they can achieve the desired outcomes.
• Confirm the activities program with the manager, including all details provided, residents involved, timetable, and resources organised.
• Ensure that all evaluation of activities, daily activity participation sheets, and other paperwork is completed and that all work reflects continuous improvement.
• Develop activities that account for previous interests and current capabilities that enhance their quality of life through their interest and hobbies.

What do we need you to bring?

• Ideally, we’re looking for previous experience in aged/community care or Lifestyle programs in Aged Care, but if you’re qualified and just starting out on your career, we’d love to hear from you too. 
• You’ll need to be resilient and resourceful and be able to live our values of compassion, respect, imagination, and boldness every day.
• Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or equivalent qualifications or demonstrated competency in the knowledge required for this role.
