In this rewarding role, you’ll work alongside young people through engaging group programs, activities and evidence-based initiatives designed to strengthen mental wellbeing, communication skills, confidence and community connection.
You’ll create supportive and inclusive environments where young people can develop healthy coping strategies, build positive relationships, and access the right supports when they need them most.
Through your work, you’ll help reduce vulnerabilities linked to challenges such as poor mental health, school disengagement and domestic violence — making a real impact where it matters most.
No two days will look the same. One day you may be facilitating a youth group activity, the next supporting a young person to access local services, building partnerships with schools or community organisations, or helping create programs that foster confidence and belonging.
Working to inspire people, enliven communities and confront injustice brings its own rewards, but there’s more.
Please contact Belinda Condon from Uniting’s Talent Acquisition team if you have any questions or enquiries – [email protected] using the subject line: Groups Facilitator - Port Macquarie enquiry via EthicalJobs.
