About the Opportunity

Uniting Forest Preschool Belrose has been an integral part of our community for many years, teaching young children the crucial skill of learning that will ease their transition to ‘big school’, and far beyond.

Within our purpose-built preschool nestled in the grounds of Belrose Uniting Church, our warm and welcoming service operates during school terms and offers stimulating indoor and outdoor environments. Our programs are designed to inspire your child’s desire to learn, embracing purposeful play and group activities that encourage their curiosity, confidence, creativity and self-expression.

What you’ll be doing in this role

As a Certificate III Qualified Educator, you’ll provide quality education and care to children to help support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework! 

Your work may include:

  • Developing positive relationships that support children, their families and community.
  • Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children’s interest, strengths, and abilities.
  • Documenting children’s learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes 

Who we’re looking for

  • Must have completed a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education, with previous on the job experience (preferred)
  • Be passionate about working with children of all ages.
  • A work history that demonstrates, programming, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework (National Standard)
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members
