About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking casual Certificate III Educators to join the team!

Uniting Dove Cottage Early Learning Bankstown supports families with education and childcare, including a preschool program. We are open long hours for children from birth to five years.  

Our service is located in the heart of multicultural Bankstown and we celebrate and welcome the wonderful diversity of our children, families and team. Within our warm and welcoming indoor learning spaces and stimulating outdoor environments, every child is valued as an individual with a unique personality, interests and needs, so we can best help them to unlock and achieve their potential while enjoying their time in our care. 

As an active team member, you will be required to support the service in the provision of high-quality care and education for children. This is a 40 place service, 2 to 5 years, hours 7:30am  - 5:30pm.

Your key duties will include:

  • Being accountable for a room and supervision of children and ensuring their safety
  • Supporting the ongoing development of the children
  • Experience doing Observations with detail documentation 
  • Participating in all aspects of the day to day running of the centre
  • Fostering relationships with families and children throughout the centre

What do I need to succeed? 

  • Certificate III in Early Learning with a minimum 1 year on the job experience
  • Positive and optimistic outlook, friendly disposition
  • A work history demonstrating reliability, punctuality, enthusiasm, initiative and commitment
  • Current Valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Understand the National Quality Framework and ELYF
