• $38.92 - 43.88/hr (depending on experience) + RDO + Super + Salary Packaging

Uniting Ella Early Learning Haberfield has supported families in our community for over 30 years, with education and childcare, including a preschool program. We are seeking a dedicated Diploma Qualified Educator to join the team!

What you’ll be doing in this role

As a Diploma Qualified Educator, you’ll provide quality education and care to children to help support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework! 

Your care work may include:

• Contribute to the development of programs which reflect the approved learning framework.
• Developing positive and respectful relationships that support children, their families and community.
• Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children’s interest, strengths, and abilities.
• Documenting children’s learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes 

Who we’re looking for

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education (essential), with previous experience working at a Diploma Level in an early learning service. Candidates who are studying towards their
• A work history that demonstrates recording observations, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Understand the National Quality Framework and EYLF
• Current Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting, CPR, and Child Protection certificate (CHCPRT025).
• Completion of mandatory national child protection training (GECCKO).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Room Leader with infants and/or toddlers.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience acting as the Responsible Person within a service.
• Strong experience supporting the learning, development, and wellbeing of infants and toddlers.
• Flexibility to work 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday on a rotating roster:
  • • Week 1: 7:15am – 3:15pm
    • Week 2: 10:00am – 6:00pm
