Two Part-Time Research Assistants (RA) are required to work on the Young people with methamphetamine use and severe mental disorders in an Emergency Department (ED): A mixed-methods study (YoMED).  The YoMED study is a cross-sectional interview study that aims to determine the prevalence of undiagnosed severe mental disorders among young people presenting to emergency departments, with and without a history of stimulant use.

Both roles will have a primary responsibility for the recruitment of young people at Sunshine Hospital, conducting a range of clinical assessments with participants and in-depth qualitative interviews with young people and clinicians. The RAs will be responsible for maintaining study databases capturing participant demographics and assessment scores, and will work closely with and be supported by the Study Coordinator/s and Investigators.
