The United Nations Association of Australia NSW Division (UNAA NSW) is offering volunteer opportunities for selected volunteers, reporting directly to the Director of Marketing & Communications. The volunteers will have the opportunity to grow their skills and gain experience with one of Australia’s leading international affairs NGOs. We will be hiring two to four volunteers for the Communications Officer position.

This opportunity is open to all individuals 18 years or over and preferably who are based in NSW.
We are particularly looking for volunteers with experience in marketing, communications, content, digital, social media, website, videography, events, or fundraising.
The successful applicants will work primarily online, reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications for, ideally, 6 months. The volunteering will be unpaid and require a minimum of two hours per week. Please see the Position Description below for more details on the time commitment and flexibility.
The roles will vary depending on the skills and experience of the volunteers and current projects being undertaken by UNAA (NSW). Applicants should be self-starters, energetic, innovative, possess high levels of integrity, and able to maintain discretion on sensitive matters.
