Provide effective support to Participants ensuring a safe and structured environment is maintained in accordance with TSA guidelines, within a Participant lead recovery-based service.

Townsville Recovery Services operates as a 33-bed residential rehabilitation facility for men & women over the age of 18 seeking recovery from addiction to alcohol, other drugs and gambling. Our program is abstinence based and provides skills to assist participants in breaking the cycle of addiction. The development of these skills leads participants into a lifestyle of hope, health and wholeness in body, mind and spirit.
The support worker provides appropriate support to participants in line with established frameworks and TSA policies and procedures. You will assist case workers to address client needs, administer the program contribute to case plans and provide supervision to participants.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate a commitment to an environment that values continuous improvement and innovation in the delivery of high-quality services and in line with agreed delegation make decisions consistent with TSA Recovery Services and Centre Policy and procedures in relation to participant/staff matters.
This is a casual position.
Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, level 2.
