The Salvation Army’s West Family Violence Services support women and children experiencing or recovering from family violence. Our work is grounded in feminist principles, trauma‑informed practice, and a commitment to increasing safety, empowerment, and long‑term wellbeing for victim‑survivors. This role plays a critical part in ensuring high‑quality, safe, and effective family violence responses across our programs.
As a Senior Specialist Family Violence Practitioner, this is your opportunity to provide specialist practice leadership across West Family Violence Services, ensuring high‑quality, safe, and consistent responses for women and children experiencing family violence. You will lead risk assessment, risk management, case planning, and support practitioners managing complex cases.
Reporting to the Team Leader, this is a fixed-term full‑time position, contracted until June 2027, based onsite in Sunshine, VIC.
Compensation is in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS) Level 6.
