We are looking for a Program Manager to be responsible for organising programs and activities for our organisation. You will be tasked with developing programs to support the organisation's strategic direction, as well as creating and managing long term goals. You will also be in charge of developing budgets and operating plans for programs and writing program funding proposals. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have prior experience in both program management and team management.

Program Management

  • Define, manage and deliver program processes in line with scope, budget, schedule, risk and resources
  • Establish and manage effective program controls to deliver established outcomes
  • Manage cross functional program activities throughout all phases of the project lifecycle
  • Develop and manage change management strategy and plans
  • Adhere to The Salvation Army Project Policy, related procedures and methodology

Retail IT System Implementation

  • Experience in Retail Point of Sale (POS) and inventory management.

The following experience would be highly regarded:

  • Logistics management
  • Warehouse management
  • Rostering, timekeeping and payroll
  • Retail financial management including discount management

Capabilities and Experience

  • Bachelor degree or master degree in business or related field
  • Proven experience in program management
  • Proven stakeholder management skills
  • Proven experience managing a team
  • Understanding of project management
