The Salvation Army Youth Services offer an integrated suite of programs engaging with young people across Australia. Our services create intentional avenues for young people to explore opportunities, build support networks, and access, participate and contribute to their communities. Youth services provide a diverse range of programs which include housing and homelessness, driver training, education, employment and training, AOD support, social and community activities, specialist therapeutic responses and youth justice programs.
Sal's by the lake is located in the middle of the excellent Speers Point Park. The cafe centrally located between the play areas and the lake and provide the best of both worlds.
Sal's a 100% NOT FOR PROFIT CAFE. All proceeds from the cafe's operations are channeled back into the community via The Salvation Army.
We are seeking pro-active and motivated Junior Food and Beverage Assistants to be part of the hospitality industry. This position is suitable for high school students/juniors wishing to have a stable job on weekends and holidays.
The right candidate must be able to work weekends, school holidays and public holidays and be be able available 5 days a week during holidays.
The right person will be trained as an all-rounder with an emphasis on barista skills and front of house duties.
We currently have casual positions available.
Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Restaurant Industry Award, Youth, Junior under 17y Level 1 or Junior under 19y Level 1.
