Edmund Rice Ministries Oceania (ERMO) was established in 2018 by the Christian Brothers to have oversight of its numerous ministries around Oceania that, inspired by the life and example of Blessed Edmund Rice, bringing hope and liberation to those experiencing disadvantage and adversity.

About the role

As an organisation we are now looking to appoint a part time Personal Assistant to provide professional, efficient and high-level administration support to the Executive Officer.

The role includes:

• Preparing correspondence, reports and presentations
• Workflow, scheduling and calendar management
• Conducting research
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• Assistance with communication and marketing
• Travel bookings
• Event and meeting coordination
• Establishing and improve administration processes and procedures
• General administration

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum year 12, tertiary qualification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ previous experience working in an office environment providing administration and support to senior management
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat, Google Docs or similar and Zoom Conferencing.

Person Specification

To be successful in this role you will need to be:

• A proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail with highly efficient computer skills.
• A self-starter with the ability to manage priorities and work autonomously
• Flexible and have foresight whilst maintaining confidence related to high level systems and operations.
• Confident at operating as an office all-rounder and a team player
• Comfortable working in a diverse faith based environment with a willingness to commit to the mission of the Catholic Church and the Christian Brothers
• Current drivers licence

This role may suit a parent seeking hours around school times, but will require some afterhours work from time to time. Some flexibility can be considered. A small amount of interstate travel may be required.
