The Torch is seeking an experienced and values‑driven Marketing and Communications Manager (0.8 FTE) to step into this pivotal role while our wonderful colleague Grace Perry takes parental leave.

This is a rare opportunity to lead brand, storytelling and engagement for an Aboriginal‑led arts organisation making real impact. Reporting to the CEO, you will shape and deliver strategic marketing and communications that champion First Nations artists, drive audience engagement, and support exhibitions, programs and fundraising across Victoria.

You will lead a small, capable team, oversee content across digital, print and media, steward our recently launched brand, and collaborate closely with colleagues to tell powerful stories with care, integrity and purpose.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Strong leadership experience in marketing and communications (arts, culture or NFP highly regarded)
  • Exceptional copywriting and storytelling skills
  • Confidence across digital channels, SEO, email and social media
  • A genuine commitment to First Nations communities, arts and cultural engagement

12‑month contract - 0.8 FTE - $105,000 + super (pro rata) - Salary packaging available
