We’re looking for a Business Development & Partnership Manager to drive national growth — connecting purpose-led programs with schools, organisations, and communities ready for change.
The Opportunity
This role blends commercial acumen with social impact. You’ll lead the charge in developing and executing a growth strategy that expands our reach, deepens our partnerships, and ensures sustainability for our mission.
We are open to this role being Full-time or Part-time (4 days) and flexible with the location being either Melbourne or Sydney.
Key Responsibilities
Growth & Strategy
- Develop and execute a national business development strategy across education, community, and corporate sectors.
- Identify new markets and growth opportunities, aligning impact and revenue goals.
- Collaborate with leadership to shape long-term strategic direction.
Sales & Pipeline Management
- Build and manage a full sales pipeline — from prospecting through to deal closure.
- Use HubSpot (CRM) for forecasting, reporting, and tracking performance.
- Personally drive outreach and conversion with energy and integrity.
Partnership Development
- Secure and nurture partnerships with schools, education networks, and community organisations.
- Support onboarding and retention of corporate partners.
- Represent the organisation at sector events and networking forums.
Commercial & Financial Ownership
- Manage business plans and revenue models for financial sustainability.
- Provide insights and data to optimise growth and impact.
Collaboration & Delivery Support
- Partner cross-functionally with delivery, marketing, and operations to ensure seamless partner experiences.
- Strengthen systems and processes that enable scale.
About You
You’re an Impact-Driven Growth Builder — commercially sharp, relationship-focused, and purpose-motivated.
You bring both heart and hustle, thriving in dynamic, values-led environments.
You Bring:
- 5+ years in business development, partnerships, or sales.
- Experience in education, social enterprise, or purpose-led sectors (preferred but not essential).
- Proven track record of hitting growth or revenue targets.
- Hands-on experience managing CRM systems like HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Confident communicator — strong on the phone and in person.
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen.
- Ideally existing relationships in schools or corporate CSR networks.
