Thorne Harbour Health is a community-controlled LGBTIQ+ organisation, governed by our members, and working for our sex, sexuality and gender diverse communities. Combining passion, commitment and activism, Thorne Harbour Health aims to improve the health and wellbeing of our LGBTIQ+ communities and of those living with or affected by HIV.

the program/Role

The Home Care program is part of Community Support, based at our Positive Living Centre. The Home Care team provides attendant care and NDIS services.

The Home Care Client Support Officer oversees the delivery of home-based support services for people living with HIV who need assistance to continue living independently in the community. The successful applicant will display the skills needed to connect with a wide range of clients and to work collaboratively to build their independence and connection to community.

The position is three days a week (Monday to Wednesday).
