The Song Room is seeking Teaching Artists to deliver a Music learning and teacher mentoring program to primary schools throughout Victoria, as part of our program, DUET.

Applicants must be practicing musical artists who have experience in education and mentoring, as well as in facilitating classroom programs with primary-aged children who experience disadvantage.

Teaching artists in the following regional areas are encouraged to apply:

• Wangaratta;
• La Trobe Valley;
• Shepparton;
• Milawa;
• Shepparton;
• Echuca;
• Geelong; and
• Mornington Peninsula.

A teaching qualification is desired for this position.

The program will involve working half and full days in schools in Terms 1 and 2, 2020. Hours offered will depend on location, school scheduling and Teaching Artist availability.
