WHO ARE WE?

The Sisterhood Empowerment Campaign Inc. is a women-led non-profit organisation based in Melbourne’s South East. We aim to unite, inspire and empower young women by providing services such as workshops and events that focuses on mental health and well-being. We've got so many ideas, programs and events to organise but not enough pair of hands. We're making a few changes and looking to expand our team. We're searching for talented and dedicated women who want to help us make a change and assist women in unleashing their full potential.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Are you passionate about women’s health and wellbeing? We want to host regular health and wellbeing workshops focusing on mental health to support women in the community who may be marginalised, facing social isolation or hardships.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Facilitate our monthly health and wellbeing workshops, mainly focusing on mental health
  • Design and create workshops and programs with the objective to empower women through education e.g. managing mental health, dealing with stress, building healthy habits etc
  • Make recommendations for changes in programs with the improvement of women’s mental health and wellbeing in mind
  • Liaise with Copywriter and Graphic Designer to relay information about the program/workshop content
  • Liaise with Fitness Facilitator for joint fitness and mental health workshops

Skills & Experience

  • Qualification or experience in Social work, Wellbeing or Health field
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to create fun, educational and interactive workshops focusing mainly on mental health
  • Intermediate skills using Google Docs, Sheets and Google Drive
  • Experience in using project management tools are desired, otherwise training is provided

  • This is a voluntary position
  • Each position has a minimum commitment level of 2-3 hours a week
  • We will use a project management tool to track KPI and keep all members up to date
  • On-site members are required proof of double vaccinations
