As our Digital Marketing Officer, you'll help bring our work to life by creating engaging digital content that showcases research, strengthens relationships and supports the delivery of our strategic priorities. Working across digital platforms such as the website, social media and email, you'll help connect our audiences with evidence that can make a real difference.

What you'll do

Working as part of our Communications team and reporting to the Communications and Marketing Manager, you'll support the planning, creation and delivery of digital content and campaigns across the Institute's communication channels.

You'll:

  • Create, schedule and publish engaging content across our website, social media and email channels.
  • Support the delivery of digital campaigns that are timely, accurate and aligned with our brand.
  • Coordinate content calendars, approvals and digital assets to ensure consistent delivery.
  • Monitor digital channels, responding to routine enquiries and escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Track digital performance, identify insights and recommend opportunities to improve engagement.
  • Draft and edit audience-focused content, including newsletters and campaign communications.
  • Maintain website content, digital assets and landing pages to ensure they remain current, accessible and user-friendly.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the Institute to identify stories and support organisational priorities.

You'll bring

We're looking for someone who combines strong digital marketing skills with a collaborative, proactive approach and a passion for creating high-quality digital content.

You'll have:

  • Experience in digital marketing, communications or a similar role.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor content for different audiences and channels.
  • Experience managing website, social media and email communications.
  • Confidence using digital platforms and tools, including content management systems, email marketing platforms, social media tools and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience coordinating digital campaigns and using performance data to inform improvements.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Experience in the health, research or not-for-profit sector, together with familiarity with analytics and reporting tools, will be highly regarded.
