Are you looking for an exciting role in a dynamic setting that will have a significant impact on reducing loneliness in targeted groups and increase participation within the Adelaide Hills community?
The Hut Community Centre (The Hut) is a ‘for purpose’ centre located in the Adelaide Hills. We work with community partners to implement the Community Connections Program across the Adelaide Hills region.
As the Community Connections Coordinator (CCC) you will work within the community centre to support groups as well as 1:1 with community members whose independence and quality of life is at risk due to being disconnected from services and social isolation. This is an exciting role for you to use your initiative and networks to develop new strategies for engagement and connection.
You will utilise your extensive knowledge of the local community, networks and case management skills to assist participants to set goals and achieve them through involvement in the Community Connections Program aimed at identifying and breaking down barriers to social inclusion.
You will develop outreach approaches to engage with new participants who are not already linked into services and programs.
This is a part-time (20 hours a week), fixed term contract position (1 March 2024 – 30 June 2025).
