  • Are you a dynamic and ambitious individual eager to make a lasting impact on important legal and public policy debates?
  • Do you possess a relentless drive to solve complex problems and make real change happen?
  • If so, the Anne Kantor Fellowship invites you to embark on a transformative journey of personal growth and professional excellence!

The Anne Kantor Fellowship is a unique program providing paid training positions to equip new voices in Australia's policy and democratic debates. Named after the philanthropist, and trailblazer, Anne Kantor, our Fellowships seek to support, train, and nurture the next generation of change- makers.

During the 12-month (or part-time equivalent) Fellowship, you will learn how to undertake legal work, research, prepare reports, turn ideas into reality, and gain an understanding of how public policy actually gets made in Australia. This position will be delivered in partnership with a leading national human rights organisation. Based in either Melbourne or Canberra, you will undertake research, provide advice, and advocate on issues to push governments and companies to set more ambitious climate targets, protect human rights and secure the reforms needed for a sustainable future.

In this role, you will be working on a project to provide expert support to people who want to speak out on injustice and human rights abuses and build stronger legal protections for whistleblowers who speak out in the public interest.
